Peter Rabbit Story Quilt
Peter rabbit is always a favorite story and this soft book panel makes a cute quilt. I paired it with denim and it will be a great boy nap mat at the YWCA day care center. I love this type of quick quilting that I know will get lots of use and bring joy to children.

Just Ducky Kid Quilt
This is a soft book panel made into a quilt for the YWCA quilt drive the Fort Worth Modern Quilt Guild is collecting for donation. I like using the panels as it also encourages reading.
Happy Father' Day
My dad worked for Southwestern Bell for the whole of his career that I knew. He was an engineer and worked to better communications in North Texas. He gave me a love for math and all things electronic. This chair was his office chair and even today it is very comfortable. In today's world of office chairs it would not most likely make the cut. This chair for me will never be empty as I am so much as my father. Thanks Max Charles Fisher for being a perfect role model.

Enter: MINT
I love the smell of mint and the glorious color of green it is BUT.....I have never and I mean never been able to grow it. I know, everyone tells me it grows like a weed and can take over a flower bed and mint is hard to kill and yet, I cannot get it grow. Every year I plant mint. I have planted in flower bed, pots and anywhere I could dig a hole and no mint. My attempt this year is in a small Mexican decorated hanging pot I bought in Boerne, Tx during the Wine and Art hop. So far, one week and it is not dead!
