St John's on my Mind

St John's in Canada is a special city and it has so much to see and experience. Color is everywhere and the water scenes delightful. I was needing to make a mini for a trade and alas I liked this so much I kept it and made another mini for my swap partner. It is all free from ruler cut, free sown and free motion quilted. Just a bit of my mind on St John's.  The back was a lucky find in my stash. I remember getting this center piece for free at a QuiltCon a few years back and some left over jelly roll strips just the right colors. It fits the vibe and feel of St John's for sure. I think a return trip is in my future.

Eyes on the Stars Quilt

Done and corners mitered. Now to fix a small issue in the border where dots do not match well or maybe not fix? This is just a fun piece and it has no home yet. It may even get larger... Love the material and it was fun to make big blocks again.

Quiltfiction Album QAL.  Quick blocks and fun fabric make for no hassle fun sewing. I love black and red so here is my version of the pattern The “Loves Me, Loves Me Not” pattern, designed by Patty Dudek, includes both throw and baby sizes.
